Dr. Wendy with 5 Tips on How to Create More Happiness in Your Life

I recently had the pleasure of talking with Dr. Wendy O’Connor, positive psychologist + life strategist for women, on my Room for Reinvention Podcast. (You can see the full episode here. ) In the episode, Wendy shares her own reinvention journey from being a clinical psychologist to taking the leap to becoming a happiness coach and designing a life with purpose and passion. She also shares the work she does to coach women on overcoming self-doubt and limiting beliefs so they too can step into unstoppable confidence and design a life they love.

Dr. Wendy O'Connor is a Stanford graduate with a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, and she has helped thousands of women worldwide live their best lives.

She has also shared her 5 tips for a happier life, and here they are:

  1. Show up as the version of you you’re craving to be. Today. Before you’re ready, before you’re richer, more confident, and ‘have more time’.

  2. Every day choose one stretch action that moves you out of your comfort zone without terrifying you.

  3. Every morning write down 3 big dreams you have for your life as if they’ve already happened. Read them aloud.

  4. Say goodbye to one person, relationship, or social media account that makes you feel shitty. Show your brain your worth MORE.

  5. Replace every negative judgment you say to yourself with 3 positives. Every damn time. That’ll shut your inner critic up.
